This is a very very simple snack idea. But it is perfect for lazy days, parties or to share with your kids. Providing protein, fats and lots of vitamins and minerals and counting as 2 portions of fruit and veg.


  • Carrots
  • Organic hummus


  • 1 sharp knife
  • 1 vegetable peeler
  • 1 tablespoon
  • 1 plate


  • Take your carrots and if necessary give them a quick wash and rinse under the water to remove excess soil
  • Then peel the outer layer and cut the tops off
  • From here cut into even sized strips and lay them out on your plate
  • Add 1 large tablespoon of humus per person
  • Serve and enjoy
